The festival has grown from 4,000 to over 70,000 people in just 5 years! This makes it one of the largest events of its kind in the world! All proceeds raised are donated to emergency services in the area. Come along and enjoy all the non stop action! Im blown away every time I come to this fabulous celebration. The sheer numbers of people being hosted by a small Kiwi seaside town is phenomenal. Ive been to Winter Fest, Ive been to Wild Foods but the Beach Hop is bigger, better and more of a celebration than the two combined.
